Boreal Kennels, Yukon's Dog Sledding expert, is a family operated wilderness tours outfitter located 70 km south of Whitehorse in Canada's Yukon Territories.

Bertrand has been leading dog sledding expeditions since 2001. Having been actively involved in adventure eco-tourism for 25 years, we deliver safe, educational, earth friendly, adventure-oriented wilderness trips.

Our 35 Alaskan and Siberian huskies are part of our family. All of them have names and are treated with tender love and care. They all have very distinct characters and personalities. Most of our dogs were born at our house but we do sometimes adopt sled dogs from other kennels, when they are in need of a new home. When a dog becomes part of our team, they spend the rest of their lives with us and are responsibly taken care of! Our sled dogs are allowed in our house even if they prefer to spend most of their time outside. They are all very gentle and loving dogs. Our dogs have been part of our lives for over 25 years and will always remain with us!

 

Our guides have all received Wilderness Advanced First Aid training. They are experts in their disciplines and well equipped to deliver safe outdoor adventures in the most remote environments. Your safety is our priority. Let them share their extensive wilderness travel knowledge and expertise.
